If we must cancel because of weather or sea conditions you may reschedule for a later date. If your visiting for a short time than we recommend booking your trip as early as possible during your stay so incase of a cancellation  you may be able get out on another day. If Captain Tony must cancel but you can not get out on another day, there will be no charge for the trip.

Motion sickness

Becoming seasick can ruin your fishing trip. Here are a couple of suggestion to help from becoming sick. One of the leading causes of seasickness is over consumption of alcohol the evening before. Save the partying till after your day of fishing. We have found that taking a full dose of over the counter seasick medications before bedtime and then half the dosage the morning of your trip will dramatically help in preventing seasickness and make you less drowsy.  Also prescription patches are available from your doctor.

What to wear

Dress appropriately for the time of year.  We want you to be comfortable. Shorts and tee shirts are great in the summer but you may get a little chilly during the winter months. As far as footwear we suggest sneakers. Although we allow flip-flops, they can cause you to slip on a wet deck. Decks do get slippery and during the heat of the battle, there may also be sharp hooks on the deck. Shoes must be worn at all times while on the boat.

Do we keep are catch

You can keep any fish that is caught that are of legal size and limits. At the end of the charter, we will clean and bag your catch. If your cooking the fish yourself great! We can also recommend restaurants in the area that will cook your fish and serve side dishes for a small fee. Trust me there is no comparison when eating a fish that was swimming just a few hours before.

Do you allow alcohol.

We look forward to making your time spent on the “Showtime” enjoyable and safe. That being said we allow beer and wine in limited quantities. Hard liquor is not permitted. Because of the inherent dangers associated with deep sea fishing we insist that our clients remain sober. If the Captain deems a client has become a danger to himself, other clients or the vessel, the Captain reserves the right to end the charter. The charter fee will not be refundable.

Coolers

“Showtime” has a conveniently  built in cooler in the rear of the boat. We supply bottled waters and ice. Because of limited space we ask you to keep your coolers to a minimum. Please coordinate with the rest of your crew so everyone doesn’t bring their own cooler.
